Passport & Visas Many participants will be required visas for entry into Thailand. Please check with your travel agency or airline to determine whether you will require on entry permit/visa into Thailand. Visas are not required by citizens of the ASEAN countries. |
Religion
The most popular religion is Buddhism, but Thailand is a country of freedom of religion.Health
Certification of vaccination for yellow fever are not required, unless the traveller is arriving from an affected area.
Customs
Allowances for arriving passengers are 200 cigarettes or 250gm to tobacco and one quart (approx.1 ltr.) of wine or spirits. Currency in excess of US$ 10,000 must be declared on arrival
Departure Tax
Payable on departure, 500 baht per person for international flights.

Usually included in hotel and restaurant bill, otherwise 10%. Porters 20 baht per case, taxis driver do not have to be tipped.
Smoking Policy
The Thai Government, in recognition of the negative health implication of smoking, have the regulation for non - smoking in the air condition building /place and toilets except in your private room.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificate of Attendance of the conference will be granted to all participants duly registered at the Conference. The authors of orals and posters paper will receive the corresponding certificate at the registration counter.
CME Points
Attendance at the conference gains a maximum of 24 CME points.
